As much as I strive for realism in my photographic works, I cannot help but to be intrigued by surrealism. What we often consider reality can be warped into something quite alien—it all depends on having a certain point of view.
“Light Warp” is a collection of 36 photographs I have made of common and ordinary scenes but with an augmented temporal and spatial point of view. Using the same instrument to document reality, I have turned the camera into a portal into the surreal. None of these images were manipulated by computer software (i.e. Photoshop); they are “real” and made using only a simple camera.
This Exhibit runs from 4 March until 31 March.
12" x 18" fine art prints available for purchase at $150.
