We sometimes take for granted the absence of colour in the winter time. While winter may appear bleak and gloomy, when seen through a certain light, there is an elegance to the monochromeness it presents. “Snow White, Snow Black” is a collection of 36 black and white photographs that I have made over the past three years during wintry months in Youngstown, Ohio and in Chicago.
